課題で英語の読書感想文書かなきゃいけなくって、一応書いたのでチェックして欲しいです。
Project Hale Mary

This book "Project Hale Mary" is the first science fiction novel I read. This is the story of a man who carries out a one-way suicide attack mission to save humanity from a cosmic life form that eats the sun, Astrophage.

My favorite character in this book is the main character ,Grace Ryland, because he is very intelligent and calm in most of the situation. For example, his memory was lost because he had been exposed to an artificial coma for a long time of space traveling, wakes up on the spaceship Hale Mary and guesses who he is in a very special way. He realized that he was using the foot method, and he assumed that he was an American, also he assumed that and he was a scientist or a doctor because he unconsciously used chemistry and medical knowledge that amateurs never knew. If it were me, I would probably be confused and couldn't tell who I am. Another example to know his smartness is where Grace had the first contact with the alien. It is a very exciting scene where he communicates with Rocky, an alien who uses unknown language, and discover very simple vocabularies such as “yes" and "no" in each other's languages. After they were able to talk to a certain extent, they both realized that we were facing the same problem that the suns are getting eaten by Astrophage and that will make both starts extinct.

This book describes many chemistry, physics , astronomy, and other academic theories. I would Like to recommend this book to the people that enjoy sciences because it is scientifically fascinating. According to my mother, everything that is described makes sense academically, and she said that if I know more about science, I will find it twice as interesting than when I read it this time. I will learn more about science at this school, and I wanted to read it again when I graduate, and I would like to enjoy this with my future classmates.
